Today we’d like to introduce you to Kate Allen.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Kate. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.

We all know most yoga studios in OC are for those who can easily achieve the “wallet stretch” pose. But who would’ve guessed the most accessible and awesome yoga classes are in the middle of masterplanned Irvine? Be The Change Yoga is all that its name implies, offering everything from beginner to advanced classes with gentle and therapeutic options in between. There’s no rigid fee structure here, either. Here are the questions I posed to her and excerpts from her responses.

In addition, the MHSCHL is an internship placement site for our Yoga Therapist Training interns. What an honor to partner with such a prestigious organization. We are committed to expanding the field of Yoga Therapy throughout Orange County!

I asked Allison and Katie if they’d indulge us in a little interview… Hope you enjoy and if you’re Orange County {or even LA or San Diego} be sure to check out one of the incredible classes or events at Be the Change.

Once an offbeat meditative exercise, Yoga has evolved into a $10.3 billion industry made up mostly of small companies – individual studios serving certain tastes and budgets in cities such as Irvine.

That gives Irvine residents who practice the meditative motions a variety to choose from, from monthly memberships for 105-degree hot yoga to free sessions for spiritual yoga.
